Cindy Kavanagh

Cindy Kavanagh was recently awarded a Master of Art Degree (with Excellence, 2020) from UNSW Art & Design, in Sydney, Australia.

Born in Hamilton, New Zealand, Kavanagh spent her high school years in the dark room before embarking on a career as a Fashion Photographer.

This consumed her twenties until she began producing TV commercials for global production company The Sweet Shop, first based in Auckland, and later in Sydney. This didn’t stop her developing her voice as an artist, and she exhibited regularly.

Kavanagh lives in Australia, and works from her studio in Paddington’s leafy art precinct, Sydney.
